Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 5:00PM My mom loves inviting people over for potlucks and game nights. During these parties, I usually watch a movie/show while the 'older' people play Settlers of Catan (or some comparable game).
Over the holidays, my mom planned out one of these nights. This time around, I was half watching a movie and half attempting to knit a simple scarf. Tiffany and Michelle, cute young daughters of one of the couples, joined me in the family room. By the end of the evening, Tiffany was mesmerized with my knitting project and told me, "No one has ever made me a scarf before."
After hearing that, of course I had to make each of them their very own scarf =)
